The SONS (Students of New Success) group is a program run by Mr. Tate geared to assist boys in social skills, character building, goal setting and a variety of other topics that promote student and life success.

             The program started some eight years ago with just five boys and as of last year had grown to sixty plus!  Over the past eight years, the SONS have written essays and read them aloud at Barnes and Noble, ate lunch at Firebirds and Champs, gone to the movies,  fished, had lunch catered and listened to guest speakers talk with them about goals, success and character traits.

            This year the group meets twice a week.  Mr. Tate and the boys proudly wear there SONS group t-shirts every Firday.
